IT Manager

Our client, operating in financial services is looking for a hands-on and expereiced IT Manager focusing on leading the department and security:

Responsibilities:

• Oversee security and technology risk management by executing test plans and continuous security controls.
• Conduct ongoing risk assessments of the local information domain.
• Serve as the primary contact for defining security and technology-related policies and procedures in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Provide strategic security guidance to IT operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Advise and support departments on operational security and IT matters.
• Coordinate security and technology changes with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and provide recommendations on security and technology-related updates.
• Develop, maintain, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for security and technology.
• Design and implement regular training and awareness programs on security and technology topics.
• Analyze legal and regulatory developments in security and technology, ensuring compliance with local processes.
• Evaluate both existing and new suppliers from a security and technology standpoint.
• Oversee IT projects to ensure timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards while meeting the requirements.
• Maintain the website and on-premises domains.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of security standards such as ISO, BAIT, DORA, MaRisk, NIST, and ITIL.
• Knowledge or experience in Data Quality Management and Financial Reporting.
• Fluency in English (German or other languages is a plus).

Education and Experience

• At least 10 years of experience in IT, leadership, security, IT risk management, compliance, or audit.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
