Our client, operating in financial services is looking for a hands-on and expereiced IT Manager focusing on leading the department and security:
Responsibilities:
- Oversee security and technology risk management by executing test plans and continuous security controls.
- Conduct ongoing risk assessments of the local information domain.
- Serve as the primary contact for defining security and technology-related policies and procedures in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Provide strategic security guidance to IT operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Advise and support departments on operational security and IT matters.
- Coordinate security and technology changes with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and provide recommendations on security and technology-related updates.
- Develop, maintain, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for security and technology.
- Design and implement regular training and awareness programs on security and technology topics.
- Analyze legal and regulatory developments in security and technology, ensuring compliance with local processes.
- Evaluate both existing and new suppliers from a security and technology standpoint.
- Oversee IT projects to ensure timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards while meeting the requirements.
- Maintain the website and on-premises domains.
Extensive knowledge of security standards such as ISO, BAIT, DORA, MaRisk, NIST, and ITIL.
At least 10 years of experience in IT, leadership, security, IT risk management, compliance, or audit.
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Knowledge or experience in Data Quality Management and Financial Reporting.
Fluency in English (German or other languages is a plus).
