IT QA Analyst

  South of Malta  |  up to €30,000 Annually 

A client of ours is currently on the lookout for a QA Analyst to join their team

Duties include:

  • Develop an audit strategy and annual audit plan.
  • Provide support in preparing audit reports and communicating findings, including compliance with regulatory, third-party, and customer standards, as well as continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of internal and external audits as necessary.
  • Conduct audits of IT processes, systems, and controls to assess compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Gather data, perform gap assessments, and assist with maintaining, tracking, reporting, and closing identified gaps for the Management Systems.
  • Assist in reviewing, updating, and publishing documented information required to maintain compliance with international standards and company-specific requirements.
  • Assist in the overseeing of the Internal Audit and Document Control processes for all Management Systems, modifying, updating, and maintaining records and documentation.
  • Assist in the evaluation of the effectiveness of IT controls in mitigating risks related to data security, system availability, and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in IT processes and controls.
  • Monitor and track the implementation of internal and external audit recommendations to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging risks, and regulatory requirements related to IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
  • Support the continuous improvement of the company's management systems by actively participating in related initiatives and projects.
  • Assist with planning and facilitating routine management review meetings with senior management, preparing clear and concise reports, memos, meeting minutes, bulletins, and surveys as required.
  • Develop and deploy training materials and plans as needed to meet requirements. Coordinating and mapping out training and training plans of the management systems for personnel within the Outsourcing partner.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of local experience in an internal audit position
  • Understanding of IT auditing principles and techniques is an advantage
  • Excellent written and oral communication ability in English

Education and Experience

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
