BMS Technician

  South of Malta  |  up to €30,000 Annually 

We are looking for an energetic and confident person to work as a BMS Technician. These are systems that control things like heating, air conditioning, lighting, and security in buildings.

What the job is about:

  • You'll be working on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting these systems.
  • Your work will involve electronics and software, so you'll need to handle both hardware (physical parts) and software (programs that run the system).
  • You'll need to work with customers and project teams to understand what they need, and keep them updated on progress.

Your daily tasks:

  • You'll be involved from the start to the finish of BMS projects, ensuring everything is done on time and within the budget.
  • You'll be responsible for installing and setting up BMS equipment, following instructions like wiring diagrams and customer specifications.
  • You will test the system on-site or remotely to make sure it works properly.
  • You’ll also do routine maintenance to keep the systems running well, and if there’s a problem, you’ll find and fix the issue.
  • You’ll also set up the system’s network connections to ensure it communicates with other devices and systems, using standard protocols like BACnet/IP or Modbus TCP/IP.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 06:30 - 15:00. For certain projects you may be on call. 

Requirements

  • Knowledge of common BMS platforms (like Honeywell. Johnson or Siemens)
  • Basic computer skills and an ability to read wiring diagrams.
  • Must have a valid driving license.

Education and Experience

  • A diploma or equivalent education in fields like Industrial Automation or Electronics.
  • Around 1-3 years of experience working in BMS.
