Our Client is looking for a skilled Electrician & Pool Systems Technician to join their team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems as well as pool-related plumbing and mechanical components. The ideal candidate must be capable of working independently, ensuring that all pool equipment and electrical systems function efficiently. A valid Category B driving license (Maltese or International) is mandatory.
Electrical Work:
- Install, test, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and components.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in pool-related systems, including lighting and control panels.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and industry standards.
- Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment.
Pool Systems Installation & Maintenance:
- Install, maintain, and repair pool pumps, filtration systems, heaters, chlorinators, and water circulation systems.
- Diagnose and fix leaks, piping issues, and pressure problems within pool systems.
- Ensure proper water treatment, pH balancing, and filtration system efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on pool-related mechanical components.
- Assist with the installation and repair of poolside plumbing, water jets, and drainage systems.
General Duties:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete installations and maintenance efficiently.
- Ensure all work is compliant with health, safety, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and provide reports on completed work.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrician and Pool Systems Technician (or similar role).
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, pool pumps, filtration systems, and water circulation technologies
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair pool-related plumbing and mechanical components.
- Familiarity with chlorination systems, water treatment processes, and automated pool control panels.
- Mandatory: A valid Category B driving license (Maltese or International).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Education and Experience
- Diploma in Electricals or Plumbing
