Furniture Installer

Our client is looking for a furniture installer. Your roles and responsibilities will include: 

Assembly by following instructions, blueprints, or schematics to assemble furniture pieces accurately.

• Use hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers, etc.) and power tools (drills, saws, etc.) to join, secure, and finish furniture components.
•  Install hardware, such as hinges, drawer slides, and handles, ensuring proper alignment and function.
• Inspect completed furniture pieces for defects, ensuring that all joints, screws, and attachments are secure and that the product meets quality standards.
• Report any discrepancies, damaged parts, or quality issues to the supervisor immediatel
• Select and prepare the appropriate materials and components needed for each assembly task.
•  Safely handle and transport materials within the assembly area, minimizing damage and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Ensure that all tools and equipment are in good working order, performing basic maintenance and cleaning as required.
• Report any malfunctioning tools or equipment to the maintenance team promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure that the workspace is kept clean and hazard-free.
• Complete assembly reports, logs, or records as required by the company’s procedures.Keep track of time spent on each task or assembly line for productivity analysis

Requirements

• Good team player
• Excellent communication in English
• Driving license is a must

Education and Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role is a must
