Our client is an established organisation operating within a niche market focused on offering a high quality service and product is currently seeking a Handyman. Reporting to the Facilities Manager your duties will include:
- Perform general maintenance: plumbing, carpentry, plastering, painting.
- Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance of plants and equipment under technical staff.
- Maintain office fixtures, bathrooms, doors, apertures, and furniture.
- Assist electrical technicians when needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing issues.
- Inspect property and report maintenance issues.
- Supervise third-party contractors on site.
- Address basic wear and tear as necessary.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 0700hrs - 1530hrs
Requirements
- Fluency in spoken and written Maltese and English.
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Clean police conduct and driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organising and time-management skills.
- A ‘can do’ and problem-solving approach.
- Quality work and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of basic welding will be considered an asset.
