Our client, a worldwide leader in trusted identity solutions, is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our manufacturing processes. You will work closely with the production team to maintain quality standards and meet production targets.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Updating machine status in the OFX system before and after intervention and informing team leaders of the status.
- Completing work dockets and related systems for efficient breakdown reporting and fault logging.
- Adopting Lean Manufacturing principles, Total Productive Maintenance, and a Continuous Improvement mindset.
- Performing repairs and maintenance to the highest quality standards, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
- Promoting a safe and healthy workplace by adhering to environmental, health, and safety standards, integrated management systems, and other relevant initiatives.
- Being trained to operate equipment like forklifts, stackers, and both motorized and non-motorised elevated platforms.
- Reading and interpreting schematic and general arrangement diagrams within your specialisation.
- Participating in the installation of equipment and infrastructural systems.
- Handling 20kg loads and working at heights as part of the job requirements.

Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of local experience in a similar position.
- An excellent level of written and verbal English.
- Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, and international technical standards.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Have a hands-on approach.
Education and Experience
- MQF Level 4 qualification in mechanical, electrical, or any other engineering field, or higher.
- Possession of a Wireman’s Electrical License A and B would be considered an asset.
