Our client is an established organisation operating within a niche market focused on offering a high quality service and product is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join their team as a Security Administrator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the security of their organisation's information systems and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations. Reporting to the Facilities Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Plan, manage, and ensure compliance with the Company's Security Policy.
- Oversee security arrangements and supervise security personnel being their point of contact, including subcontracted staff.
- Conduct daily internal and external patrols.
- Assist management in maintaining law and order on-site.
- Organise and manage keys, access cards, and other security controls.
- Report and follow up on security incidents with relevant personnel.
- Liaise with police and district authorities on law-and-order matters and investigations.
- Manage incident response, reporting, and adherence to evacuation policies.
- Oversee CCTV, access control systems, and service contractors for issue resolution.
- Supervise waste disposal and landscaping contractors.
- Inspect fire safety systems to ensure legal compliance.
- Ensure contractors follow health and safety regulations.
- Communicate professionally with clients and respond to security personnel's calls.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday
Requirements
- Proven experience in a security administration role or similar position
- Valid security guard license issued in Malta would be considered an asset. Should the chosen candidate not have a valid security guard license, the Company will pay for the course and license, which needs to be obtained during the probation period
- Fluent in English
- Basic IT skills (Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel)
- Clean police conduct certificate
- Valid driving license and own transport
- Knowledge of firefighting and first aid is a plus
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Agile and a ‘can do’ and problem-solving approach.
