Security Shift Controller (4-shift)

Our client, a worldwide leader in trusted identity solutions, is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Shift Controller. To ensure smooth operations of the site-based Control Room and keep the HSSE Manager informed of incidents. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assist in control monitoring processes, including MIS and KRIs.  
• Manage day-to-day Control Room operations, supervise security staff, and ensure security tasks are completed.  
• Maintain compliance with operational risk controls and company policies.  
• Promote safety and security awareness among employees.  
• Oversee key management and control room systems like CCTV, fire alarms, and access control.  
• Provide first-line response to incidents and ensure appropriate support.  
• Manage site security and safety outside regular working hours.  
• Respond to emergency alarms and security events to minimise risks.  
• Perform walk-throughs to ensure safety and security.

Gross salary + an attractive shift allowance

Requirements

• Previous local experience in a similar role and industry would be advantageous
• Strong decision-making, organisational, and planning abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a secure environment and handle security situations independently.
• Ability to work various shifts and overtime as required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Malta.
• People-oriented individual with a strong initiative and a willingness to learn.
• Training will be provided, and the ideal candidate will have the ability to provide constructive feedback and correct others when needed.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well with others are essential.

Education and Experience

• Hold at least an 'O' Level education.
