Senior DevOps and Corporate IT Leader

Our client, operating in the Gaming industry is looking for a Senior DevOps & Corporate IT Team Leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of DevOps Engineers and Corporate IT professionals.
  • Ensure seamless operational execution across multiple locations while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
  • Facilitate effective communication across different time zones.
  • Set clear goals, prioritize tasks, and track progress to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
  • Oversee IT support and infrastructure management to ensure smooth internal IT operations.
  • Implement training programs to enhance technical expertise and maintain performance standards.
  • Architect, implement, and maintain a highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure (preferably GCP).
  • Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement automated solutions for enhanced reliability.
  • Ensure security best practices are followed in deployments, infrastructure, and internal IT management.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to optimize performance and deployment strategies.
  • Manage and improve container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
  • Automate scaling, logging, and alerting to improve system resilience.
  • Support incident response and post-mortem analysis to enhance system stability.
  • Oversee Corporate IT infrastructure, including enterprise IT systems, networks, and user management.
  • Manage enterprise applications, IT support, and helpdesk operations to ensure smooth IT support for employees.
  • Oversee IT asset procurement, software licensing, and vendor relationships.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading and scaling DevOps teams while structuring workflows for efficiency.
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GCP Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
  • Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog).

Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
  • Understanding of corporate IT infrastructure, including Active Directory, VPNs, endpoint management, and IT security best practices.
