Senior Java Software Developer

Our client, a leader in the iGaming industry, is seeking to recruit several a skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join their growing team who will have a vital part in the design and development of their iGaming platform.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based micro-services.
• Developing and maintaining front end components corresponding to the backend APIs.
• Working with the team and other departments to define, design, and implement new features.
• Working with software architects to improve the performance and scalability of the software.
• Ensuring code quality by carrying out reviews whilst identifying and troubleshooting bottlenecks and bugs in the software.
• Continuously evaluating, driving and improving new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Sharing knowledge and mentoring other developers within the team

Requirements

• Between 4 and 5 years experience as a Software Developer.
• Knowledge of agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
• Experience in API Design including REST and GraphQL
• Familiar with technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Work experience using Java.
• Candidate must be already located in Malta.
