Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy AI agents to automate complex processes and enhance customer service.
- Apply programming and LLM engineering skills to create scalable, autonomous AI systems.
- Debug, optimize, and fine-tune AI agent behaviors for improved reliability.
- Advance knowledge in AI safety, prompt engineering, and machine learning to enhance agent capabilities.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop practical AI solutions.
- Contribute to agent memory systems and knowledge bases for adaptive learning.
- Experiment with new LLM architectures to improve performance.
- Document code and design strategies for future scalability.
Requirements
- Experience or interest in LLM integration and AI development frameworks.
- Basic understanding of NLP, machine learning, and AI safety principles.
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#) with a willingness to learn Python.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with vector databases, RAG, cloud platforms, and containerization would be an asset.
- Background in cognitive systems or AGI research would be an advantage.
- Interest in autonomous systems and AI safety.
- Ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Candidate should be already based in Malta, with occasional travel for events and conferences.
