Software Engineer

Our client is seeking a Software Engineer to join their growing team. Working with a prominent company in maritime safety and environmental stewardship, you will be focused on enhancing this through cutting-edge innovation, digitalization, data, and customer-centric solutions.

Main duties include:

• Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code for both server-side and client-side applications.
• Participate in analyzing project requirements and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to build and enhance complex systems.
• Debug, update, and optimize existing code to improve performance and functionality.
• Review code to identify and fix errors or inconsistencies.
• Monitor system operations and provide necessary support when needed.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Stay up to date with evolving technologies and coding best practices.
• Continuously research and implement industry-leading development techniques.
• Work closely with QA teams, technical designers, data engineers, and architects to create scalable solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in C#, SQL and Typescript
• Holds experience using Azure
• Experience using frameworks such as Angular or React
• Analytical and problem solving skills

Education and Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
