Distribution Office Administrator

  Central Malta  |  €20,000 - €22,000 Annually 

Our client, a leading company within the FMCG industry, are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Distribution Office Administrator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the distribution office and ensuring efficient and timely delivery of products to their customers. Reporting to the Distribution Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the daily distribution of routes.
  • Foster strong working and communication relationships with the sales department.
  • Assist with checking and loading trucks.
  • Perform operational, managerial, and administrative duties as needed, including covering for co-workers who are on leave or sick.
  • Support or substitute for administrative tasks within the distribution stores department.
  • Manage distribution personnel records, including leave, sick leave, overtime, and computer equipment, in the Distribution Manager’s absence.
  • Supervise distribution helpers and drivers when the Distribution Manager is away.
  • Assist warehouse personnel as needed.
  • Carry out any other assigned duties as required.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a two-shift basis, with the possibility of overtime: 06:00 - 14:30 and 09:00 - 18:15.

Requirements

  • Local experience in a similar role, preferably in a distribution or logistics environment would be considered an asset
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
