Our client within the Aviation industry, is looking to recruit an Inventory & Repair Executive to join their growing team. reporting to the Inventory & Repair Manager, the chosen candidate will be responsible to:
- Handle routine shipments of all materials to and from storage and maintenance facilities, utilizing the Group’s network where possible.
- Establish and manage an efficient network of suppliers to support transportation and logistics needs.
- Support and/or manage urgent logistics requirements (AOG and short-term needs) on a 24x7 basis.
- Perform incoming inspections to ensure materials and associated documentation comply with EASA and/or CAAI regulations.
- Manage quarantined materials due to documentation issues and resolve any related discrepancies.
- Monitor the Group’s main warehouse, outstation sub-stores, and large parts storage facilities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant procedures for parts storage and issuance.
- Ensure all material certifications adhere to EASA and/or CAAI requirements.
- Ensure all purchased materials and component repairs meet regulatory standards.
- Issue repair and purchase orders for materials, including chemicals, consumables, expendables, and repairable components.
- Manage unserviceable routable components requiring third-party repairs as per the Group's policies.
- Oversee the repair cycle of components sent for overhaul, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
- Liaise with contracted component and material providers to ensure timely provisioning.
- Support or manage urgent component requirements through exchange, purchase, or repair.
- Assist Group Airlines with outsourced (base) maintenance checks by preparing material pre-load kits.
- Administer and manage warranties with vendors and repair agencies in collaboration with relevant experts.
- Support the Inventory and Repair Manager in contract negotiations.
- Assist the Materials and Logistics Director in developing an accurate materials budget.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of logistics, transportation, and inventory management within the Aviation
Education and Experience
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments, particularly for AOG support.
- Experience in supplier and vendor management.
- Knowledge of EASA and CAAI regulatory requirements.
- Experience in aviation, logistics, or materials management is a must.
