Logistics Coordinator

• Our client, a local leading events company, is looking to recruit a Logistics Coordinator to join their growing team. The chosen candidate will:
  
  Manage the planning, setup, and dismantling of various events, including themed nights, corporate events, product launches, concerts, conferences, and more. 
• Oversee the loading and unloading of equipment, ensuring proper handling and storage. ∙ Collaborate with Event Coordinators and other teams to ensure smooth execution of event logistics. 
• Coordinate vehicle bookings, deliveries, and transportation logistics for event setups. ∙ Supervise logistics crew and assign daily tasks to ensure smooth operations. ∙ Communicate with third parties, including suppliers and transport companies, to manage event-related logistics. 
• Maintain high standards of safety, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations. ∙ Assist with site layouts, running orders, and detailed event timelines. 
• Support the team with any last-minute changes or challenges during events. ∙ Plan and lead weekly operations meetings to review upcoming events and conduct post-event evaluations. 
• Analyse post-event feedback and provide reports to senior management. ∙ Suggest and implement improvements to optimize logistical processes. 
• Perform other duties as required.

Education and Experience

• Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably within the events industry. ∙
• Hands-on experience managing event logistics, from transportation to on-site setups.
• Clean driving license (C or C1 license is a plus).
• Familiarity with Health & Safety protocols and regulations.
