Our client is looking for a Procurement and Logistics Coordinator. Your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and entering customer’s orders into the ERP system (or manually);
- Monitoring warehouse inventory at all times including scheduled inventory checks
- Placing procurement requests for manufacturers and suppliers
- Negotiate procurement prices or raw materials with suppliers
- Monitoring the preparation and status of each procurement request including In-transit monitoring
- Coordinating shipping of goods from manufacturers to customers/warehouses
- Coordinating all aspects of shipping documents, including customs documentation verification, transport options, etc.
- Responsibility for issuing invoices for customer/s
- Responsibly for timely payment of manufacturers' and suppliers’ invoices based on the payment terms
- Working with external advisors in the procurement and logistics area; General administrative tasks
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday - 8.00 - 17.00
Friday - 08.00-14.00
Requirements
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Maltese
- Experience in an ERP system is an advantage
- Have sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrate adequate communication skills and be a team player
Education and Experience
- Proven work experience in a similar position is considered an asset
