Procurement Officer

  Central Malta  |  €22,000 - €25,000 Annually 

Our client is seeking a Procurement Officer with a friendly, and proactive approach to support their Procurement Department team.

Responsibilities: 

  • Obtain and negotiate supplier offers, conducting a comparative analysis of all quotes received.
  • Review invoices to ensure they align with purchase orders.
  • Prepare purchase reports, including cost analyses.
  • Stay updated on market trends and prices, regularly comparing prices.
  • Provide support for day-to-day tasks within the Procurement Department as needed.
  • Respond to stakeholder inquiries regarding order status, changes, or cancellations.
  • Maintain filing systems, generate reports, and update price lists.
  • Organize and retrieve purchase order documents and records.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in Procurement or similar role. 
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with office management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capable of working independently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to the team while exploring opportunities for career progression within the Procurement field.
