Our client, who specialises in the medical device industry is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager. Reporting to the COO your responsibilities will include:
- Manage sourcing, purchasing, and procurement contracts.
- Issue and oversee purchase orders, including international suppliers.
- Identify and negotiate with suppliers, ensuring quality compliance.
- Implement and maintain an ERP system for inventory tracking.
- Monitor stock levels, warehouse operations, and supplier coordination.
- Conduct inventory verification and ensure compliance with movement protocols.
- Align sales forecasts with production planning to optimise stock.
- Oversee final packaging, labelling, and shipment logistics.
- Track shipments, monitor service performance, and ensure compliance.
- Support audits, manage CAPAs, and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in supply chain operations locally.
- Candidates must already be based in Malta, with the legal right to work in Malta.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel and ERP Systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with quality systems and regulatory compliance is a plus.
Education and Experience
- Preferably from MedTech, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, engineering, automotive, aviation, or other regulated industries.
