Store Manager

  Central Malta  |  €25,000 - €30,000 Annually 

A leading company offering industrial and maintenance services is looking for a Store Manager to join their team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the stores, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Take responsibility for all equipment, vehicles, tools, and materials within the stores, managing workloads according to demand.
  • Maintain the quality and quantity of materials as required, ensuring no excess or shortages.
  • Plan and oversee delivery and collection processes, ensuring materials are ready for pickup in advance.
  • Manage store offices and inventory systems, including verifying goods received against invoices or packaging documents.
  • Ensure proper storage of materials, avoiding damage or mixing, and maintaining clear labels.
  • Log and account for all material, including finished goods, in the computer system.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is a must, preferably in an industry handling similar supplies
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English, whilst Maltese is highly preferred.
  • Strong physical health and ability to handle heavy objects effectively.
  • Forklift certification is advantageous.
  • Computer literate and familiar with software-based inventory systems.
