Cost Planning & Development Projects Manager

  Central Malta  |  €35,000 - €40,000 Annually 

A leading local company in property development and construction is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join their team as a Cost Planning & Development Projects Manager. This role is key to ensuring the effective financial planning, control, and delivery of all our group development projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the cost planning and estimation of development projects from concept through completion.
  • Prepare and manage detailed bills of quantities and tender documentation.
  • Oversee tendering processes, including contractor evaluation and recommendation.
  • Support contract negotiations and post-contract cost control.
  • Monitor project budgets, manage cost variations, and report on project financials.
  • Liaise with internal departments, consultants, and contractors to ensure cost-effective delivery of projects.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role working in the construction and property development sectors in Malta
  • A qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cost planning, tender preparation, and post-contract administration.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and cost management systems.
