Head of Projects

Our company is renowned comoany on the Maltese islands. They are looking for a Head of Projects to join their team as they are growing.

The Role

• You will lead the Project Management section.
• The section consists of Architects, Project Managers, and supporting staff.
• You will oversee project operations to ensure timely implementation, budget control, and quality assurance.
• Contract management will be part of the role, assisted by the Procurement section.
• You will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
• The role includes maintaining proper documentation and reporting standards.
• The section may also need to produce specifications and estimates for project procurement.

Requirements

• A strong understanding of Project Management procedures is required.
• The Officer must work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• You should foster teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Guidance in decision-making, negotiation, and conflict resolution is expected.
• Candidates need an MQF Level 6 or higher in Architecture, Civil, or Engineering-related fields.
• A driving license (Category B) is required, while a professional warrant is optional.
• A minimum of five years of experience in the construction industry is necessary.
