IT Assistant

Our client within the banking industry is looking for an IT Assistant to join their dynamic team

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize IT systems through regular testing, upgrades, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure compliance and prepare detailed reports while keeping comprehensive IT documentation.
• Review policies and update documentation for IT procedures and processes.
• Monitor system operations to guarantee reliability and security across all platforms.
• Provide technical support to management and staff, resolving system-related issues efficiently.
• Assist the Head of IT with various tasks and projects as needed.
• Coordinate with suppliers during acquisitions to source necessary IT resources.
• Manage user accounts and control access across systems as part of system administration duties.
• Organize and maintain structured documentation for all IT activities.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and implement operational improvements.
• Facilitate staff training on IT systems and best practices to enhance proficiency.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting.
• Must possess a very good sense of organization to maintain proper documentation.
• Previous experience in a similar role or an internship in IT support is a plus.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
