IT Business Partner

Description:

• Address client issues and participate in operational meetings as an escalation point for IT-related concerns.
• Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade PC software, operating systems, hardware, and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance.
• Provide support to Operational Business Units by troubleshooting hardware/software issues on machinery.
• Maintain wired and wireless network infrastructure up to Layer 2, with support for troubleshooting at higher OSI layers.
• Support SQL databases and SQL Reporting Services.
• Assist with asset management in line with ISO 27001 / 14298 standards.
• Troubleshoot issues (in person, by phone, or email) promptly and provide end-user assistance as needed.
• Perform system administration tasks alongside the team, supporting local applications in line with corporate policies.
• Conduct root cause analysis, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.
• Liaise with local IT supplier management and oversee cost management.
• Manage internal and external audits, as well as IT disaster recovery.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement principles.

Requirements

• Fluent with SQL Server, scripting and database applications
• Knowledgeable on IT Infrastructure technologies
• IT project management skills relevant certification will be a plus
• Experience in manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of WiFi and Wired Network technologies and monitoring tools
• Strong understanding of user environment management

Education and Experience

• College diploma or University degree in computer science, IT or related field
• Certifications in Microsoft (MCSE, MCSD), CISCO (CCNA, CCNP, CCDA)or other equivalent qualifications
