Our esteemed and globally recognized client is expanding their team and seeking an Automation Systems Specialist to join them.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the operation and maintenance of automatic inspection and personalization software and hardware systems.
Attain expert-level knowledge of relevant systems and processes.
Design adaptation models and support Quality Control (QC) in creating training sets or related materials.
Research and recommend advanced technologies to enhance system performance and reliability.
Manage data, generate reports for analysis, and fulfil customer requirements.
Safeguard customer databases to ensure the integrity of personalization processes according to client standards.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and R&D trials.
Train new employees and provide ongoing technical support.
Proactively communicate daily operational issues and project progress.
Ensure operators maximize machine performance.

Performance Targets:

Achieve objectives for Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Right First Time (RFT), and On-Time In Full (OTIF).
Address and resolve customer non-conformities.

Requirements:

Highly motivated and proactive individual.
Advanced computer literacy, with expertise in object-oriented scripting (preferably C#) and hardware configuration.
Proficiency in automated inspection systems and related automation.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
Familiarity with security printing materials and processes.
Ability to self-learn new technologies and techniques.
Educational qualification equivalent to MQF Level 5 in IT or Electrical Engineering.
Fluency in Maltese & English.
