IT Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will manage both internal and external project execution members, working closely with relevant teams and stakeholders. You will oversee complex information systems, ensuring the success of projects within the programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage complex programs or multiple projects to meet overall objectives and deliver incremental benefits to the business.
• Continuously assess user needs to provide proactive support and identify opportunities for improvement with existing tools.
• Drive, promote, and manage change initiatives, ensuring these are effectively integrated and utilized within the business.
• Serve as a key advisor for Project Managers and Team Leaders on matters of recruitment, training, promotion, retention, performance evaluations, and management.
• Facilitate effective communication on system-related issues across the department, working closely with other teams on changes, developments, troubleshooting, and resolving conflicting requirements.
• Develop and track business metrics to measure service and performance, identifying opportunities for personnel incentives and continuous improvement.
• Monitor program costs to ensure they are justified and within budget limits, and assist in preparing budgets for system-related interfaces and applications.
• Conduct regular planning and status meetings with stakeholders and solution vendors to review project progress, manage risks, and ensure alignment with the overall vision.
• Ensure JIRA is kept up to date with project tasks, effort invested, and team capacity plans.
• Oversee the operational support, maintenance, and development initiatives for complex programs, requiring both managerial and hands-on technical expertise.
• Ensure efficient incident resolution, conflict management, maintenance, and upgrades as identified by application end users.
• Stay current with technological advancements and identify future trends in application integration within the financial services industry.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Jira work management systems.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Commitment to responsibilities and continuous updating on job-related areas.

Education and Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
