IT Support Specialist

  Central Malta  |  €25,000 - €30,000 Annually 

Our client is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join their growing team. Reporting to the Head of IT, your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to internal staff on various hardware and software related matters via various channels (IT Service Helpdesk, phone, email, in-person).
  • Manage and track support requests using a Helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Monitor, configure and maintain ICT equipment including PCs, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Manage the on-boarding and off-boarding processes of both computers and users and support the roll-out of new systems.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement IT policies and procedures and create and maintain accurate documentation of technical processes, issues and solutions.
  • Liaise with 3rd party providers and vendors when required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Support or a similar role.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 suite of products and Intune is essential.
  • Experience with network administration and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in using remote desktop applications and helpdesk software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Be in possession of a valid driving license.

Education and Experience

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
