Journalist

  Central Malta  |  €24,000 - €30,000 Annually 

Our Client, a well-established clients media news organisation, is looking for a Journalist to join their growing team. Reporting to the Head of Digital & Marketing your responsibilities will include:

  • Follow local business news and current affairs extensively.
  • Report on exciting developments in the local business scene.
  • Conduct interviews with business leaders and cover breaking business news.
  • Brainstorm and analyse new angles for stories and follow-ups.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 09:00 - 17:30

Requirements

  • Must have local experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrate an excellent command of written English.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Multi-tasking skills, focused, and agile to carry out tasks in a swift manner
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Candidates must already be based in Malta, with the legal right to work in Malta
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Word, Excel and Outlook

Education and Experience

  • Strong background in Journalism, English Language, Communications Studies, Economy, or Finance.
