Our client, a local private sector is looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Executive to take charge of their social media presence. The ideal candidate will manage their social media platforms, plan and implement a content calendar, engage with their community, and maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels. The role also involves basic video and image editing, performance analysis, and running email marketing campaigns. Reporting to the Acting Engagement & Marketing Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee all social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Develop, update, and schedule a consistent and relevant content calendar.
- Manage community engagement, optimise posts, and enhance content impact.
- Review and ensure all content aligns with brand standards before publishing.
- Collaborate with team members, including technical and graphic design teams.
- Perform basic video and image editing to create engaging visuals.
- Provide monthly and quarterly performance reports and analyse data to refine strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and social media changes to optimise strategies.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms.
- Analyse and optimise the performance of email marketing campaigns.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday
Requirements
- Experience with social media management tools.
- At least 2 years of proven local experience in social media management.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools.
- An excellent level of written and verbal English.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field.
