Our client, a high-end manufacturing company, is looking to recruit a Technician to join their growing team. Reporting to the Production Manager, the chosen candidate will be responsible for:
- Regular testing and operation of all equipment and machinery, ensuring good working order condition;
- To provide technical know-how and experience in the process of manufacturing, development of design, installation, operation, maintenance procedures, and improvements of products, facilities, services/systems, and equipment.
- Assisting with periodical calibration of instruments, equipment, and machines as directed; compiling and documenting preventive maintenance sheets and reports, ensuring all essential spare parts are in stock;
- Front-line technical support to areas of Assembly, Functional test, ATP test, and CT test operations, including maintenance and repair of specific tools and equipment, and product failure Expertise analyses of failed products during manufacturing and/or returned back by customer;
- Maintenance of assigned areas work stations and H&S risk assessment documentation, equipment register, necessary calibrations, chemicals expiry control, and related tests required for extension of use to be carried out on time according to schedule;
- Assist with the Design of electronic Schematics and PCBs for products and equipment development, project development support, and implementations in assigned areas;
- To perform any other additional duties that may arise from time to time.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 06:30 - 15:00
Requirements
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Able to work under pressure
- Excellent troubleshooting skills will be considered as an asset
- Able to analyze problems rationally and be proactive with solutions
Education and Experience
- Full Technician certificate or Advanced Technician Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar technical post
- A good level of oral and written skills in English Language
